Make nobody from una wish for death because wahala don jam am
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
Anas wey bi di pikin Maalik (رضي الله عنه) tok say di Prophet (ﷺ) yarn:
" لاَ يَتَمَنَّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ ضُرٍّ أَصَابَهُ
"Make nobody from una wish for death because wahala don jam am.
فَإِنْ كَانَ لاَ بُدَّ فَاعِلاً فَلْيَقُلِ
But if e no get choice and e wan wish am, make e tok say:
اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كَانَتِ الْحَيَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي، وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي
‘Ya Allah! Keep me alive if life go better for me, and if to die go better pass, then carry me.’"
