عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِيمَا رَوَى عَنِ اللَّهِ، تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنَّهُ قَالَ
Abu Dharr talk say di Prophet (ﷺ) yarn us wetin Allah, di Most High, don tok:
" يَا عِبَادِي إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الظُّلْمَ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَجَعَلْتُهُ بَيْنَكُمْ مُحَرَّمًا فَلاَ تَظَالَمُوا
‘My pipo, I don forbid oppression for Myself, and I don make am haram for una too, so make una no dey do bad to each oda.
يَا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ ضَالٌّ إِلاَّ مَنْ هَدَيْتُهُ فَاسْتَهْدُونِي أَهْدِكُمْ
My pipo, all of una dey lost, except di one wey I don guide, so beg Me for guidance, and I go guide una.
يَا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ جَائِعٌ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَطْعَمْتُهُ فَاسْتَطْعِمُونِي أُطْعِمْكُمْ
My pipo, all of una dey hungry, except di one wey I don give food, so ask Me for food, and I go give una chop.
يَا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ عَارٍ إِلاَّ مَنْ كَسَوْتُهُ فَاسْتَكْسُونِي أَكْسُكُمْ
My pipo, all of una dey nack nakedness, except di one wey I don cover, so ask Me for cloth, and I go cover una.
يَا عِبَادِي إِنَّكُمْ تُخْطِئُونَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا فَاسْتَغْفِرُونِي أَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ
My pipo, una dey sin every day and night, but na Me dey forgive all sin, so make una ask Me for forgiveness, and I go forgive una.
يَا عِبَادِي إِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَبْلُغُوا ضَرِّي فَتَضُرُّونِي وَلَنْ تَبْلُغُوا نَفْعِي فَتَنْفَعُونِي
My pipo, una no fit harm Me at all, and una no fit do anytin wey go benefit Me.
يَا عِبَادِي لَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَإِنْسَكُمْ وَجِنَّكُمْ كَانُوا عَلَى أَتْقَى قَلْبِ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمْ مَا زَادَ ذَلِكَ فِي مُلْكِي شَيْئًا
My pipo, if from di first pesin wey I create go di last one, both human and jinn, all of dem get di purest heart like di most pious pesin, e no go add anytin to My Kingdom.
يَا عِبَادِي لَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَإِنْسَكُمْ وَجِنَّكُمْ كَانُوا عَلَى أَفْجَرِ قَلْبِ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ مَا نَقَصَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ مُلْكِي شَيْئًا
And if all of una, from di first pesin to di last one, both human and jinn, get di most wicked heart, e no go reduce anything from My Kingdom.
يَا عِبَادِي لَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَإِنْسَكُمْ وَجِنَّكُمْ قَامُوا فِي صَعِيدٍ وَاحِدٍ فَسَأَلُونِي فَأَعْطَيْتُ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مَسْأَلَتَهُ مَا نَقَصَ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا عِنْدِي إِلاَّ كَمَا يَنْقُصُ الْمِخْيَطُ إِذَا أُدْخِلَ الْبَحْرَ
My pipo, if all of una, both human and jinn, stand for one place, come dey beg Me for wetin una want, and I give everybody wetin e ask for, e no go even reduce wetin I get pass as needle go fit reduce di water for ocean if dem put am inside.
يَا عِبَادِي إِنَّمَا هِيَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ أُحْصِيهَا لَكُمْ ثُمَّ أُوَفِّيكُمْ إِيَّاهَا فَمَنْ وَجَدَ خَيْرًا فَلْيَحْمَدِ اللَّهَ وَمَنْ وَجَدَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَلاَ يَلُومَنَّ إِلاَّ نَفْسَهُ
My pipo, na una own action dem I dey record, and na di same action dem I go take pay una back. So anybody wey see say e do good, make e thank Allah. And anybody wey see say e no do good, make e no blame anybody but himself.’"
Sa’id talk say when Abu Idris Khaulini dey narrate dis hadith, e kneel down put.
