Ahlus-Sunnah No Dey Compare Allah with Anything
وَلَا يُكَيِّفُونَ، وَلَا يُمَثِّلُونَ صِفَاتِهِ بِصِفَاتِ خَلْقِهِ، لِأَنَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ لَا سَمِيَّ لَهُ، وَلَا كُفُوءَ لَهُ، وَلَا نِدَّ لَهُ، وَلَا يُقَاسُ بِخَلْقِهِ
Ahlus-Sunnah no dey try to explain how Allah be, and dem no dey compare am with di things wey e create.
“Allah no get any equal, no get any partner, and no be like anything wey dem create.”
Allah Na di Only One Weh Get di Most Perfect Names
وَهُوَ سُبْحَانَهُ لَا يُعْلَمُ كَيْفَ هُوَ إِلَّا هُوَ، وَلَكِنْ نُؤْمِنُ بِهُ وَبِصِفَاتِهِ وَبِمَا وَصَفَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ، وَبِمَا وَصَفَهُ بِهِ رَسُولُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِنْ غَيْرِ إِفْرَاطٍ وَلَا تَفْرِيطٍ
Nobody sabi how Allah be except Allah Himself. But we believe everything wey e tok about Himself and everything wey Prophet Muhammad ﷺ tok about am.
"We no go add or remove anything from wetin Allah tok about Himself."
Di Belief of Ahlus-Sunnah About Allah Attributes
فَإِنَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي جَمِيعِ صِفَاتِهِ، فَهُوَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ
Nothing be like Allah at all for all e attributes. But Allah still be di One wey dey hear and see everything.
"Nothing dey like Allah, but e still get ear and e see everything." (Surah Ash-Shuura 42:11)
Allah No Need Anybody, But Everybody Need Allah
وَهُوَ الْغَنِيُّ عَنْ كُلِّ مَا سِوَاهُ، وَكُلُّ مَا سِوَاهُ مُفْتَقِرٌ إِلَيْهِ
Allah no need anybody, but na everybody need Allah.
"Allah no dey depend on anybody, but everything wey e create need am."
Allah No Dey Sleep, No Dey Tire
وَهُوَ الْقَيُّومُ الَّذِي قَامَ بِنَفْسِهِ، وَيَقُومُ بِهِ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ
Allah na di One wey dey support everything, but e no dey tire or sleep.
"Allah no dey feel drowsy, e no dey sleep." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255 - Ayatul Kursiyy)
Allah Dey Control Everything
وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ، وَهُوَ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعَالِ
Allah na di One wey high pass everything, and e be di greatest.
"Allah na di most high, na e great pass."
Allah Na di Only One Wey Get True Power
وَهُوَ الْمَلِكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Allah na di King, all praise belong to am, and e get power over everything.
"Na Allah be di real King, and everything dey under e control."
Allah Na di Only One Wey Know Everything
وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَهُوَ الْقَدِيرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
Allah sabi everything and e fit do anything wey e want.
"Allah know wetin dey happen for everywhere, and e get power over everything."
Allah Dey See and Hear Everything
وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
Allah na di One wey dey hear and see everything.
"Nothing fit hide from Allah eye and e ear dey hear everything."
Allah No Be Like Human Being
وَلَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ (الشورى: 11)
Nothing dey like Allah at all, but e still dey hear and e dey see.
"Allah no be like anything, but e get ear wey dey hear and e get eye wey dey see."
Allah No Dey Forget Anything
وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا (مريم: 64)
Allah no fit ever forget anything.
"Your Lord no be person wey dey forget."
Allah Get Mercy Wey Pass Everybody Own
وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ (الأعراف: 156)
Allah mercy cover everything.
"Di mercy of Allah big pass anything wey you fit imagine."
Allah Dey Control di Universe
يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ (السجدة: 5)
Allah na di One wey dey control everything from heaven go earth.
"Everything wey dey happen for this world dey under Allah control."
Allah Fit Do Anything
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (البقرة: 2
Allah get power over everything.
"Allah fit do anything wey e want, nothing dey hard for am."
Allah No Be Man, E No Get Pikin
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ (الإخلاص: 3-4)
Allah no born, dem no born am, and e no get anybody wey be like am.
"Allah no get pikin, and e no be pikin of anybody."
Allah Dey Answer Prayer
وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ (غافر: 60)
Allah tok say, ‘Make una pray to Me, I go answer una.’
"If you call Allah, e go answer you."
